Fertigo immediately reminds us of Irish butter because of Kerrygold’s unique logo. The butter producer used a similar font. Fertigo is curvilicious — yes, we made that up — and playful. This serifed typeface is perfect for logos, brand packaging but it’s versatile enough to employ in web design. See the infographic to the left to see how behaves in different styles.

Its cursive version is basically digital calligraphy.  

Yet, this type offers good legibility on screens as well as in print. We’d even be OK with using it in the body of the text at, say, size 16 pt (as seen in the poster) in the body of text, if the mood called for it.
