Inspired by the typography styles of the Late Renaissance, Robert Slimbach designed Minion as well as Arno Pro. They are interchangeable, if not identical.

Minion is an elegant, romantic type with heavy ligatures and its italics version looks like calligraphy. It offers high legibility in long texts but the font loses clarity at small sizes as shown in the footer of the infographic.
