Inconsolata is one of the so-called “programmer fonts” or typography created specifically for reading on screens. All the characters in “monospaced fonts” like Inconsolata have the same width making it easy to write programming texts of equal length. Another great programmer font is Courier, a type that always prints at 12 characters per inch.  

Inconsolata is a clean, stable font that reads well even in small size and it is available via for FREE via Google Fonts.
