Founder Dom Bridges says his mission is to to raise awareness about natural products that are every bit as effective as chemical-derived alternatives. Founded in 2012, Haeckls focuses on innovative formula that directly addresses a common problem in sustainability using all-natural ingredients. We were excited to see that some of its offerings are organic: Natural Lip Balm, Marine Natural Facial Cleanser, and even the Pluviophile Rain Natural Candle.
We were intrigued by the Waterless Body Cleanser. The main ingredient in most cleansers is 70% – 90% water. "You’re paying for water, and companies are essentially transporting water all over the globe," Haeckls says. We are also paying to package and ship that water, two activities that adversely imapct the planet. But you gotta shower right? In comes the body cleanser in pill form. Just add water, which is easy because you're in the shower. This product also comes with a milled ceramic dispenser.
Haeckls is carefully to produce limited runs of each product. The waterless body Cleanser pack, for example, is limited to one purchase per customer each year. The pack is expected to provide enough soap tablets for a year's worth of showers.
