Co-founder Freddy Ward, a former marketing director at HelloFresh UK, is on a mission to clean up the bathroom. The company launched with a well-known line of scented natural deodorants in 2019. Wild Cosmetics is gradually moving into other categories, starting with soap.
While the company uses the same base for all deodorants, they use essential oils to create a array of scents from clean simple perfumes like Coconut Dream to more exciting options like Sandalwood & Patchouli. "Some fragrances are harder to achieve with just natural oils and so in these instances we use sustainably and ethically sourced synthetic fragrances," the company said. "This makes up a very small percentage of the total bar."

Wild is focused on offsetting its environmental impact. "For every deodorant sold, Wild promises to contribute a percentage of sales to 'On A Mission', a charity that supports reforestation projects.
Wild UK deodorants are packaged in materials that are 100% recyclable, biodegradable, compostable and from sustainable sources. The reusable deodorant case is made of aluminium alloy, "a very commonly used and safe form of packaging and is totally different to the aluminium salts used in some antiperspirants."
